The Live Here Love Here Community Awards are back for their 10th year, celebrating the incredible community groups and volunteers making a positive difference across Northern Ireland.

Each year, we come together for a special evening of celebration to recognise the passion, dedication and impact of groups working to make their local areas cleaner, greener and more welcoming places for everyone.

From new groups full of ideas to long-standing volunteers who have dedicated years to their communities, the awards shine a spotlight on the people behind the projects and give their achievements the recognition they deserve.

Regional Champions Award – Open to community groups carrying out volunteer-led environmental action within a council area that supports the Live Here Love Here programme. 

Please note: Groups operating within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council or Fermanagh and Omagh District Council areas are not eligible for the Regional Champions Award. However, they may still be considered for the other award categories below.

Bright Future Award – Celebrates a promising new community group, formed less than three years ago, that has shown exceptional potential and enthusiasm for environmental volunteering.

Community Together Award – Recognises a community group that has made notable efforts to break down barriers, foster inclusion and promote positive community relations through environmental action.

Lasting Contribution Award – Honours an established community group, formed five or more years ago, that has consistently demonstrated outstanding environmental stewardship and a long-term commitment to its local area through sustained volunteer action.
