Small Grants

Make a BIG difference with a Small Grant!

Our Small Grants support community-led projects that enhance the local environment, build civic pride, and bring people together. Grants of £500–£3,000 are available to support environmental improvement projects that make a positive difference in the wider community. 

The 2026/27 Small Grants is now OPEN until 30th June!

Eligibility

The scheme supports community groups, schools, not-for-profit organisations, and unconstituted groups to deliver projects that aim to:

  • Increase civic pride and enhance the quality of local green spaces
  • Transform underused areas into vibrant, valued community spaces
  • Improve community health and wellbeing through the enhancement of public spaces
  • Promote environmentally focused actions and boost local biodiversity
